Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 20

My skin keeps getting better and better. Day 20 and surprise surprise. Nothing but smooth, clear skin. The sales associate who sold me the kit called me today to follow up. I went to visit her after work and she congratulated me as I beamed like a proud school kid with a hot report card. "Your skin looks great, I wouldn't have known you had any problems with it!" Ohh butter me up already. I ended up buying this:
She suggested something with light coverage since "you don't have anything to cover up anyway!" Sold. Oh she's good, I feel like a star. The powder sets very matte, perfect for my T-zone; I hope it doesn't oxidize. I'm planning to use it on top of my Urban Decay Surreal Skin. Seriously, I'm so glad my skin has transformed to, dare I say, beautiful! Agh, I can't believe it, my skin has never looked this clear. I run my hand over my cheeks and what used to be rough bumpy patches have disappeared. Perhaps partial credit goes to the Neutrogena Wave gadget which I've also been using to help with the transformation. Whatever it is, I am a happy girl. I'm back and I feel fabulous! I was willing to buy the full sized bottles of the system but she told me to come back in October when they have their gift with purchase :) Done and done.

Neutrogena Wave - the morning after

Hola. I had to write a quick post about this because I am thoroughly impressed after one use.

Last night, I incorporated this little gadget (pink of course, even if it's pictured in blue here!) into my nightly cleanup routine, together with my newly found holy grail, the Clinique Clear Skin System. I've tried reading up on reviews on it before using, just so I knew what I was in for. One caveat: it's not as foamy as advertised, kind of like the exaggerated mascara commercials. With that, I wet the pad, squirted some of the Clinique wash on there, and went to work on my face. The vibrating action is invigorating, like a mini facial. Made sure to use circular motions to help generate the lather. Did this for about 5 minutes, moisturized and went to bed.

This morning I woke up and my face was the smothest it's EVER BEEN. EVER. No redness, oiliness, rough patches gone. It's amazing! I'm so excited. Now to figure out how often I'll need to use it. I'm loving the results so much that I want to use it daily! <3

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 15

Made it just past the 2-week mark. So happy to announce that my face is smooth, clear, a lot less oily but now has a slight glow (not oil generated of course.) I am definitely going to buy a full sized set. Thank you, Clinique. My skin thanks you. My foundation application has been reduced to half the amount (only a small pinch of mineral makeup now), credit to the effectiveness of this system.

In other news, I had a 20% off coupon at Ulta and curiously bought the Neutrogena Wave Duo. Maybe this will help smooth out the dryness that I've been experiencing due to the Clinique system. We shall see...reviews are mostly positive.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 9

It's just about midnight and I'm looking in the mirror. Cannot believe what I see. Absolutely flawless skin! Granted I did put on a thin layer of mineral makeup but that was around 2pm. It's now 11:55pm and there is no sign of shine, uneven tone, splotchiness. Nothing. Just smooth, pretty skin. How about that for a change. This stuff is a miracle! LOVE!

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 8

Promising news to report on day 8. Its a rare hot and humid day today. However, my face remains grease free. It's definitely working. My skin is smooth and clear, just like I've hoped it would be. This system is extremely effective. My splotchy cheeks have calmed down, cool as a cucumber now. I can lay off hiding under piles of foundation too. Progress being made. Confidence level up.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 5

Drumroll please. It's day 5 and I can definitely say that there is a remarkable change in my skin's condition since last Thursday. As noted from the last post, I do have to deal with the extra dryness occuring around my chin area but I've got that covered with Aquaphor. More importantly, I look in the mirror and for once I can say wow, my skin actually looks pretty. I feel pretty! Good skin is so very important yet so easily taken for granted. Regimen: 2x a day, a.m. and p.m., paired with an exfoliating scrub. I am liking the results a lot. I wonder if bf will notice a change on Thursday :)

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 4

Ok, day 4. My skin is looking better. I notice that I am a lot less oily now :) That's a good and bad sign. Bad cause my cheeks/chin are super dry and I need to apply extra moisturizer to those areas. But at the expense of nicer skin that's slowly surfacing, I'll take it! Excited! I am just about sold.

Clinique Acne Solutions Clear Skin System - Day 2

So my lovely job has gotten me all stressed out lately. My skin has been freaking out. Stopped by the counter on the way home on Thursday, desperate for help, completely jealous of the sales lady's flawless skin. Come on lady, save me. Gimme something good. She brought out this small green box and admitted that she uses the system religiously. If my skin can look like hers, sign me up.

It's day 2 and maybe I'm hallucinating but I THINK my skin is starting to calm down. It definitely feels cleaner. Let's see what tomorrow brings. With any luck, in 2 weeks I will have my skin back...
